ADHD coaching with Trina (of Simple Mindful)

ADHD coaching is a collaborative approach to support you in discovering what works for you.

Many folks come to coaching wanting to “hack their ADHD” and we will definitely do this, but not necessarily in the way you might think. ADHD coaching is a deep dive into self exploration, so it goes way beyond quick tips and tricks.

Some things we explore through the ADHD lens…

✔ Planning, goal setting, organization & problem solving.

✔ Expectations, perfectionism, boundaries and personal standards

✔ Time management vs energy management

✔ Procrastination, habit formation, routine vs rhythm

My aim is to help you experiment/play with different ideas and approaches, tapping into your strengths, skills, talents and gifts.

If you’re looking for someone to amp up your productivity or whip you into shape, I am likely not your person.

I take a grace filled approach of deep curiosity and understanding. I see coaching as place of fun experimentation because this tends to work well with ADHD brains.

We will take a close look at areas of struggle. We will adjust old habits and approaches that do not serve you well. There will be fun parts but also uncomfortable parts.

One at a Time Sessions

I realize that not everyone can nor wants to commit to a full package of sessions. You are welcome to book sessions as needed/one at a time. All (live) sessions for all packages are about $120 (Cdn) an hour (50 min), but packages come with ongoing support outside of sessions.

I offer a reduced rate for students (undergrad, graduate & PhD) and anyone else who really wants coaching but can’t afford my hourly rate (this includes packages). I do not ask for proof. I trust if you’re asking, you need it.

Sometimes it can be challenging to do that thing you know you need to do; write that email, send that text, clean that drawer, and so on. Maybe you need to talk through something quickly with someone or verbalize a plan. You just need someone there to help you get over the hump. These body doubling sessions are for you. These sessions will help you move through the initial overwhelm of doing the task. They aren’t full coaching sessions, but may include some question prompts to help you move forward or figure out your first steps.

The Project Pivot

$480 Cdn (4 Sessions)

If you need help moving forward with an awesome project, but feel stuck on where and how to get started, this quick pivot would be great for you.

  • These 50 minute sessions take place over zoom and are dedicated to getting momentum on a specific project.

  • In between sessions you will have the option of extra support through a personalized UpCoach Classroom. Session notes will be added here as well as meeting times. You will also find a digital workbook to help you move forward with your idea.

  • After we have our 4th session, you will continue to get support for a month via the Volley app and a 30/40 minute follow up chat to make any adjustments and to celebrate progress.

The ADHD Pivot

$480 Cdn (4 Sessions to start)

This is a deeper exploration into your ADHD strengths and struggles focused on topics of your choosing.

  • You will come to each session with a topic of focus. These can be around your ADHD struggles or intentions/goals you want to move forward with.

    It is recommended that sessions be booked weekly or bi-weekly.

  • In between sessions you will have the option of extra support through a personalized UpCoach Classroom. Session notes will be added here as well as meeting times. You will also find a digital workbook to help you move forward with your idea.

  • If you choose to continue with more sessions (4+), you will get access to the self-paced program, Oh Crap, I Think I Have ADHD. Now What?! This program is full of resources that are a great supplement to 1:1 coaching.

  • A month after our final sessions we will check back in to see how you’re doing and celebrate the progress you’ve made.

In-Person!

I am offering limited in-person sessions for those who live in (or near) Calgary, AB, Canada.

My office is located in the Banff Trail area near Edelweiss Village (central NW).

If you are interested in in-person sessions with me, please book an initial free chat, which will take place over zoom. In the brief intake form for this call, please indicate you are interested in-person sessions.

What is ADHD coaching & how can it help?

Step 1.

Step 2.

Once we confirm this is a good fit for both of us, I’ll send you a contract & invoice.

Step 3.

Fill out the contract and we’ll get started! All sessions take place over Zoom with extra Volley or UpCoach support.

Questions Answered

1. Refunds

If, for whatever reason, you no longer wish to continue with coaching, I offer refunds for any remaining sessions. I do not offer refunds for completed sessions. If you decide to end the coaching contract, access to any additional programs (Volley, UpCoach and Self Paced Programs) will also be closed.

2. Cancelations and Rescheduling

I am fairly flexible in terms of rescheduling and canceling appointments because we have ADHD and life happens. Cancelations and Rescheduling are possible in my scheduling app up to 24 hrs before your appointment. I understand that emergencies can happen within a 24 hr period and would appreciate an email as soon as possible. I value your time and hope that you will do the same with mine.

3. What is the Volley app?

Volley is a great app for us to communicate outside of sessions. It includes video, audio and text (plus emojis) to communicate. You’re not obligated to use this while we work together, but it is an option if you want to do some extra verbal processing and sharing of ideas. This option is available to those in 1:1 The Quick Pivot.

4. Personalized Program (in UpCoach)?

When you enrol in either 8 or 12 weeks of 1:1 coaching you will be added to a Personalized 1:1 program that includes the self paced program, “Oh Crap! I Think I have ADHD. Now What?!” Within the personalized program you will have session notes available to you, the ability to track habits and set tasks/homework for yourself, as well as stay in regular contact with me.

5. Oh Crap! I Think I have ADHD. Now What?!

“Oh Crap! I Think I have ADHD. Now What?!” is a self-paced program with a one time fee, but has the benefits of a membership with regular live events (bi-montly-ish). This program is packed full of my favourite ADHD tools and approaches to help you get a better sense of what is working for you verses what is not. It will be a fantastic supplement to one to one coaching giving us lots of fodder for discussion. You are not obligated to work through this course if you sign up for coaching, but it’s there if you want it.
